Handicrafts
The Pafos region has a rich history in various
handicrafts such as weaving, embroidery or carpet making. Nowadays this
rich handicraft heritage has been preserved and you can still see people
practicing weaving in villages (Fyti, Lasa, Krytou Marotou, Drynia,
Agios Dimitrianos) or embroidering in the villages of Goudi, Fyti,
Statos and Lytos. Traditional Cypriot Carpets are made in the village of
Salamiou, Koilinia and Trimithousa. |
